Daniels in concussion protocol. Let me say this, after the pounding he took tonight no way he should play next week. I think LSU will probably find a way or push him to play ( completely disagree with this) but he shouldn’t.
Nussmeier is good enough that they could still beat us by 20.
Hate to see a promising career compromised. Hoping Daniels is good to go soon and hoping LSU is very cautious with him and his return.

 

Seemed like there was a good 5-6 years in the 2010s where we had to play our backup QB against LSU.

 

Brian Kelly isn't exactly know for caring about the health and safety of others.

 

Hopefully doctors wouldn’t put him at risk by clearing him if he’s not good.

 

If they are smart, they would rest Daniels next week. Nussmeier should be able to handle the Gators without much problem.

Is there a single team other than LSU on FSUs entire schedule that is CURRENTLY ranked? Not Clemson, not Duke. Who else was ranked when they played them that isnt ranked now?

If an officiating crew is going to make an error in judgment I suspect they are not going to make a gametime decision that could cost the SEC money and/or prestige at the end of the season. I'm sure its nothing criminal, devious or planned but I wouldn't be surprised if it part of the review process that works in their favor.

 

It's hard enough to beat Bama when they are allowed to hold regularly, but now that they are allowed to horse collar and target the opposing teams star QB it's gonna be almost impossible.
