After further review, not that impressed with our defense. Utah scored 13 points against a bad Baylor team. I don’t count the last td as was given to them.

Wonder if Dave Atanda will start getting noise. Highly thought of DC when hired, won 12 games 2 years ago, but losing record last year and 0-2 start this year. Not having his starting QB might be an excuse but....

 

Last play was pass interference. Should have been first and goal Baylor. Utah lucked up and squeaked one out against an bad team while the equally bad commentators defend the no-call.

 

Agreed, but maybe our offense isn't as bad as they looked. Utah has a solid defense.

If PI called, it would have been a 15 yrd penalty not a spot foul and placed at the 1 . At least that's my understanding of the college rule.

 

That’s what I was thinking but I’m not a rules guru.

 

Took the high road but probably because his bosses want him to. Call the game the same on the first play all the way to the last. Wr got mugged. Don't reward a bad play. Hate the argument "the refs weren't going to interfere. " It's not interfering

 

That's the NFL rule. Don't think that's the college rule but I could be wrong.
