Yeah far better than Napier. This is who Napier should intern with if he is so set on calling his own plays. Sark just seems so polished, almost like an offensive version of a younger Saban.

Sark didn't even meet Saban until he was almost 15 years into his coaching career. He's a Pete Carroll guy, not Saban.

sark has always been an elite play caller. He’s been OC at 2 powerhouses and HC at 2 elite schools. He’s always he it. Napier can’t learn that from hanging out with him for a couple of days.

Funny, the media was playing the angle of how can Texas stop Milroe sp.? He was annointed as unstopable after a tune up game. Wrong again.

Bama was crushed on the LOS. Texas has the dangerous QB. Media are button pushers, no thought goes into their work..

I’ve said for a while now that when Saban retires, which I think will be relatively soon, they will replace him with either Sarkesian or Kiffin, they won’t bother with a coach from the Sunbelt or anything similar. Was this the victory that will eventually cement that? Was it a changing of the guard? Time will tell I suppose.

I wondered when Texas was going to return to prominence. That school has too many resources and great tradition--and Texas has a lot of talent--for them to continue to languish. It also is a prestigious academic institution, which will make it all that more sweet when they start beating the football only schools like Bama, the Barn and LSpoo.

And A&M fans' buttholes must be puckered up so tight right now that they couldn't crap a bb, and they are stuck with Bimbo for the foreseeable future. Ha ha.

    &

The Longhorns did us a historical solid by beating Nebraska against all odds, to clear path for us to play FSU for our first natty in '96. I am forever grateful, and as long as Texas' interest aren't in direct conflict with UF's... I'm all "hook 'em horns!"

I liked Texas a lot before I moved to Austin. By the end of that period of my life, I couldn't stand anything University of Texas. There is no university-related area where Texas doesn't expect everyone to hush in quiet awe in their presence - athletic and academic sides both. We should all humble ourselves before them when they even deign to acknowledge our existence.

I don't know as much about where UF is these days, but one reason I liked the school so much when I was trying to figure out where to do a PhD was that they had great programs but weren't arrogant about who they were. I much prefer great universities who don't posture. They just do the work and let the results speak for themselves.

I was just looking at the gumps post game thread. One gump posted last night while the barners at the time were losing to California, "a least cali is playing well". LOL.
