I have not seen any analysis of why Harris just received 11 million less votes than Biden did in 2020, but Trump received the same amount of votes that he received in 2020. Where did those voters go? I expected a huge turnout for this election. Did new restrictive voting laws in many states cause the foregoing?

Trumpers will claim this is proof of fraud, yet using logic, if they rigged it in 2020 why didn’t they do it again? Lol.

Trump will wind up with about four million more votes than in 2020. The missing millions may have been voters staying home in safe states (cuts both ways).

I saw 74+ million votes for Trump for both 2020 and 2024.

Good Lord, this is simple....and yet Trumpers cannot understand it.

    1) Voter turnout was lower across the board. NET lower. Particularly with Dem voters.
    2) There were large voting shifts in many demographics. For example, Trump was appx +10 with Latinos and appx +14 with Black males.

So, to use imprecise, but reasonably accurate numbers; the both got fewer votes from past voters, for Dems probably at least 4-5 million fewer votes overall AND ...... at least 5million or more voters shifted from Dem to Trump. (Such as from the demographics cited above alone.) Rendering a net to Trump.

It's either approximately that, or....."Herr de derrr, the Dems didn't stuff 11 million fake ballots into the boxes this time." :)

In short, the wacko conspiracy theories about fake voting spread by Trump's lies are as absurd now as they were 4 years ago.

Guys. Votes will be nearly the same total. Trump will like win popular vote but barely as Harris will receive 5m less votes than Biden and Trump 3M more votes than Trump 2020.

It always takes a few weeks before the popular vote count is completed.

My post just above clearly says Trump will likely win the popular vote but the total count will be very near the 2020 election.

I’m crossing my fingers she bests him by 1 vote so I feel some hope for humanity.

It would seem that this is either 1) a coverup of the cheating of 2020 or 2) something done “as usual” but cannot be both.

The most logical explanation is that a lot of the former Biden voters who failed to show in 2024 were pissed off over the inflation during Biden's term but still couldn't bring themselves to voting for Trump. Essentially another variation of "it's the economy, stupid". Although not the economy that was probably the case of Arab Americans in Michigan who voted for Biden in 2020 and decided to stay home this time. They were pissed off at Biden's support of Israel but couldn't bring themselves to vote for the guy who said that Netanyahu should finish the job.
