Again, samo samo. Repeat wash and rinse. Predictable predictable predictable. We are "Champions of Life". Congrats BN
Sorry, but when a head coach has to point to the jersey's we are wearing as the positives for the week, I don't know what to say, I guess disappointing. Almost felt like he was using that as a shield from criticism, in fact, I change my mind, it feels gross.
He blamed the monumental screw up at the end where he cost us 5 yards and iced his own kicker (... lost UF the game) on a single player who mis-heard something. What an absolute mess.
Just fire him already. He got the job because he beat a crap Texas team and nothing else. Scared money might not make money but neither does dumb money. Outside of Etienne and Tre Wilson what is there to cheer for on this team?
He keeps saying he believes in the people in that locker room… so do we Billy, and we want to see the best for them and it just is not happening!!! Courage, life lessons, hard work, teachable moments, etc… yeah we get it! But at what point do you say “I am failing those players!”, “I can do better and I need to change!”. Sick of this distancing himself from results. Be an adult. Your stakeholders are the team, the students, the fans and supporters… start taking responsibility and change what is not working!
So it seems it was a good thing they lost this type of game and they have character and got to wear black uniforms. So calm down , everything is fine
Having listened to the whole thing now, I'm really struggling to not lose my shit. Hated almost everything about that press conference. Feigning ignorance to the issues with ST is infuriating.
Listening to his PC, and the soft ball questions, makes me ill. UF supposedly hired a HC not a cheerleader. Half of his PC is how proud he is of the team, how they will continue to fight, yada yada yada. Then praises our opponents, but does almost zilch in turning the program around. I can't remember unless you go back to the 80s where we had such a miserable 2 year stint with the same coach. I think by year 2 there should be enough evidence that this coach is a winner or not. This post is harsh but not as harsh as the criticism by media and other sport networks including gator sites.
We are 22 games in. There is zero indication that Napier is the man for the job other than his lengthy contract, courtesy of one Scott Stricklin.
Coaches in the Sun Belt and Division 2 prepare players for life. Coaches in the SEC prepare players for the NFL.
He’s better than the last two guys but I couldn’t watch more than a couple minutes. Yeah, I stopped listening after that non response.
