Seems osu is setting up that they either got him back or if they don't it's because the staff didn't want him anymore and told him no lol Let's just wait and see.
Part of me thinks he committed to UF but it got leaked before he was ready to announce and now he’s stirring up drama to trick everyone before he officially announces to us, but that’s just me looking at the glass half full…the other part of me thinks this is all about NIL lol
Making sure your given a sold deal is only being smart. All the head games and drama I can do without. Get er done and get to work.
TRob recruiting hard to Bama. I think kid may want to take visits before committing again. Bama, UM, UF are new top 3. Think he wants to be closer to home. Former Ohio State CB coach that put kids in NFL is now at Cincinnati program this year. Coach Raymond being up the street is attractive. Gator recruiting class is attractive.
I don’t know about any of this. My guess is he knew the avalanche was coming this weekend and just wanted his own day in court. No Russian spies or back door shenanigans. Just a kid who didn’t want to share his time in the sun with 5 other guys.
There might have been or be some NIL issues involved. There are contractural issues that are created through NIL that might not be performable if the recruit transfers to another school. This is particularly the case where the contract is with a local vendor. I am sure any NIL deal is contingent on a signed letter of intent, but there might have been some earnest money paid or advanced payments (if permissible) which now have to be returned. It would be unwise for him to announce a new commitment when he 1) does not have new NIL contracts in place, and 2) has not rescinded the the consideration paid in the now defunct NIL contracts.
I think we end up getting him, because he says he values relationships. Gators CB Target Dijon Johnson Has a Leader In Mind
