Does anyone have the inside skinny on what's going on with DJ? Is his announcement thought to be eminent? Did the butt heads at Rival do any actual damage to our prospects of landing him before the dead period with their bogus commitment article? Is he now taking calls from the dark side? Has he been abducted by aliens? Obsessing minds want to know.

 

Just a guess but I suspect there are some financial issues to be worked out. He has a high six-figure rating and he just walked away from one NIL deal which probably gives him some leverage. The negotiations could be too complicated to expect an announcement this soon.

 

I know it's hard to wait . . . but Dijon will tell everybody when he's ready.

That's called perspective, isn't it? Did I mention that I hate perspective almost as much as I hate waiting?

 

Where are you getting this info? Ohio state boards mention nothing of any NIL deal already in place with Johnson (or any player for that matter). Outside of Nico and Rashada, which still isn’t verified, no recruits NIL deals are public (since they aren’t supposed to have any).

on3 usually has an estimated worth of a players NIl deal but is based on a players ranking and position in their recruit ratings and estimating a value for the player.

 

So all we need is 129 people from this site to write $1,000 check and we'll be good to go.
