The girl was 6 weeks and 3 days according to sources. The current Ohio law states after 6 weeks, abortion is only legal in the case of the mother's health. Was this girl in danger of dying the day she was denied an abortion in Ohio? No, as evidenced by the fact she wasn't hospitalized in Ohio, and had waited a full week to get an abortion in Indiana. Perhaps, later along in her pregnancy, the girl may have qualified for the life of the mother exception? We'll never know.

Yeah, I was thinking about this ... when she stopped taking calls and talking about it, a lot righties said it was proof she lied. Seems just as likely she was getting harassing calls and death threats from the followers of Jesus.

We are pretty much a third world country now. It’s astounding the amount of damage Donald Trump has done to this country. Truly sad.

 

It drew scrutiny as well from the state attorney general, who said that exceptions to Ohio law would have allowed the girl to obtain an abortion in the state and who said he had not heard of a report being filed in the case.
