Cool - a music fight . . .

 

It appears that I actually did know and like a few of his songs... I just never knew who sang them. I might have to dig into his catalogue a little bit. I actually have a pretty diverse taste in music. I might be listening to Wu Tang Clan one minute, then Janis Joplin the next.

 

Same here. Anything from classical and opera, through country, jazz, blues and R&B, including several genres in Spanish ....to hard rock, and metal.

I don’t think the image you referenced was created by Christians. I suspect the sacrilegious images are created by anti-Trump people.

No, definitely not for having or sharing an opinion. But one ought to be able produce some, when they throw down the gauntlet and say "bring it on chumps."

I'm not the hugest Seger fan, but enough of one to take exception when you suggest only chumps like his music.

Bob segers fault

 

Having a hard time figuring out how Bob Seger topped anyone's "Hey, you know whose music sucks?" list.

 

Seger is the most boring generic "rock" of that era. His music says nothing and is very basic.

Give me anything else from that time frame. But I also know people always push back when I say that, including my friends. That's why I said "bring it chumps."

Ed Sheeran is pretty boring to me. I tend to change the radio dial when he comes on.

Other than this post, which is only to make the point, I've never uttered a cross word or entertained a negative thought about him.

Sounds like a lot more going on there, than 'he's the most boring...'.

As a side note--many of us find Bob Seger's music to be soulful, and we hear his stories, and feel his meaning.

I suspect a lot of younger folk probably feel that way about Ed Sheeran's music. I don't begrudge them for such at all. I just change the radio dial.

I hope you shat that Seger pone cone out of your ass, and may therefore enjoy the remainder of your weekend.

The song lyrics most definitely were and believe me when I tell you that here in the Bible Belt I see the imagery. Here there is a billboard on I-40 of Trump "laying hands" on a baby (implication healing a la Jesus). But yes, for clarity, the graphic in the post I responded to was mocking the very behavior that I find grotesque.
