Hard to find a finer man than than Jerre. Calvin and I go way back. Also in another twist in all of this with Ray Lawrence ending up at UGA, the sister of my roommate at Florida was on Crusade staff at UGA when I was at Florida.

I remember the glasses, but I sure had the hair as blonde. I guess I'd need a photo to be sure that I have the right guy in mind.

Jeff Cummings. I attended because of Jerre Brannon. Interestingly when I graduated I was replaced in the apartment by Calvin Carr who is now their pastor and married Kelly Brannon.

I remember you, Jeff. You had straight, blonde hair as I recall. I am Edward Minchin. I was also in Jerre Brannen's SS class. In an amazing flip, Mr. Brannen is now in my class. I am back in Gainesville after living all over the eastern US, and a member at North Central.

Was Ray Lawrence still at Florida when he came to Christ?

Yes, he was. He became a Christian either late in hie soph. , or early in his Jr. year, iirc.

I think he may have attended North Central Baptist at that time which was where I was attending as at student during the same time period.
