Took a look at Google, yes we parked in the parking lots b/w blount ave and the river immediately south of 441/Chapman hwy, the lots are b/w the RR bridge and the 441 bridge, it was probably 6 years ago last time I went, but I parked there for multiple trips in 90's/early 2000's, looks like the lots are still there, and I think we did pay to park..
