    it’s imperative that we have a shutdown inning and then we have the top of the lineup coming back up next ending to get us back in this game.

    This was a terrible pitch selection on the last pitch.

    Philpott comes in 2-0 and on the 3-1 pitch throws a high four seamer for a full count. Either throw another high four seamer or a change-up there. He came in with no reps on the mound for anything breaking.

    If I was calling the pitches I would have thrown a high change-up.
