So bad behind 3-1 right now.
Van Horn will absolutely make this a 3-4 inning game meaning, if they can get to the fifth inning with a lead, they will be throwing their top three arms, which all are still available

 

Not a bad walk.

 

Gotta give Arkansas credit when we make mistakes they take advantage and when we have a pitcher throwing meatballs to us, we cannot stay back and drive the ball.

 

Portal pitchers coming in next year- I say at least 4 and maybe 5. Not seeing the development we would expect for beer one two year or two for several pitchers.

Philpott inherited a bad situation. . . . And made it worse.

 

Just awful pitching. I know it's early, but 5 free passes and a wild pitch in 2 innings ain't cuttin' it.

 

I’d pull Philpott now. Bring McNellie in. We gotta get 2 here. Van Horn, pulling their kid after the first base Runner or two

 

And then our guy that comes in allows them to tee off

 

Ok guys Luke’s had the saddle on his back—somebody’s got to help him carry the team if you want to make this work.

 

Ordinarily I support playing upper classmen over freshmen but given this pitching staff I'd say it's time to put the freshmen out there and maybe one will catch fire and give us a Sunday starter.
