He can in a pinch. Plays a lot with the ball in his hands, but probably not the best option against physical, athletic SEC ball pressure. I suspect Klavzar is the backup one.
SMH at college athletics...kids making more than if they go to the NBA as a 2nd rounder. Crazy times.
Why? My take: Habits are hard to die. But then I will support my fellow brethren when they are being "attacked" by friendly fire. What has Todd done since he won the natty? Signed a player or two, sure, but he hasn't won a single damn game! What is happening to our team? It ALWAYS has something bad occurring. Why US!!!
During my time of matriculation at Floridas original land grant university, between 1978 and 1982, we had none of the success athletically that we enjoy today. We celebrated our 1980 opening game victory over Cal with the fervor equivalent to a championship, coming after 1980s 0-10-1 campaign. Just competing was wonderful; winning was majestic. And yet, we had the innate and resonant belief that, merely being a Gator was good enough to mark us as preferable to being anything else. I see many, too many for my taste, equate their passion for UF with its success in athletics. This is anathema to me; I reject it and all its sentiments. That is a shallow and transactional perspective that leads to ingratitude and bitterness. Championships, like victories, are not our birthright as Gators. They glorify our existing state at Gators but we remain proud of our Gator-ness “in all kinds of weather.”
