8 wins in the sec with the nfl's opinion our talent added seems fairly decent. Now, if we had only shown up against miami and A&M. I think our talent has improved. We have some guys with first day potential now.

No more pet players in offensive line and get our defense up to speed from game one then we will improve greatly from last year alone... that's not even counting how much more talent we have overall on their year's team. And add to that one more year of experience with the existing talented players like at QB. The depth at the D-line position is my only concern right now.

Thought Badger would go earlier. Hope Des is able to get there with the Bucs.

Dez signed for 50,000 guaranteed plus a 20,000 bonus.
Talk about wasted opportunities in life.

The fact that it's such a low offer says this is his one and only shot at the NFL.

Dolphins got a good deal with Marshall at 150. He could have gone higher.

I really like where Badger and Johnson ended up as UDFAs.
    2 great franchises.

I haven't paid close enough attention to NFL draft prospects; just find it out of the normal for the first Gator to be drafted that far down.

I live in Tampa and DW is a local product so they have been writing about him a lot in the papers.
He keeps talking about how he needs to lose weight to make it in the NFL. Apparently he lost 26 lbs from his pro day up to the draft. He credits it to not going inside the store when he stops for gas because the treats are too tempting.
Wasted opportunities is the millions he left on the table because he didn't take advantage of everything (quality food, dietitians, etc) UF offered him over the past 4 yrs. With some discipline he could have been a 3rd round or better draft pick instead of a UDFA being paid the minimum for coming in to summer camp. Priority free agents get 100's of thousands to come to camp not 50,000.

The Bucs will be offering a lot of guys to OTA's so they can find a few players for the practice squad. There is no way he will make an active roster.

It will make you say to yourself what was he thinking for the last four years if it took feedback from the NFL to make him take weight loss seriously.

Badger not getting selected is rather surprising to me. At least he ended up with a great organization.

I presume that he could not control his weight.
