Schintzius got a mention from Barkley on TNT/Inside the NBA last night when they were showing a clip of Shaq tearing down a backboard in 1993. Schintius was the Nets player trying to guard Shaq on the play. Glad the Chuckster pointed it out, because I wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't.
One of my freshman yr roommates played a round of golf w Schintzius. They needed a 4th and my roommate was the 4th. He commented on the crazy club length and huge swing, but also on Dwayne's character. Said he was pretty outrageous and super cool. I'm sure Dwayne's character contributed a signif bit to his game.
