I can tell you that—he pitched off of as good a yellow hammer curveball as was out there back then. And like most every lefty alive, he knew how to pitch backwards. We pitched against wood bats and he probably blew up as many bats as I did.
Just looked it up . I’m ashamed! 1974. 4.17 1975. 5.60 Lots of walks and 3-1 fastballs that said hit me 1972 an 73 in Junior College I was 15 wins and 5 losses . 2 of those loses were against 74 Noles jr college Chipola. Got lucky and had school paid for all 4 years but I’m still disappointed in my Gators performance. I could have done better. As a lot of kids at UF not as focused and locked in as I should have been . But can’t worry about it ,although I do reflect and wish I could had another crack at it
