Not sure how much that factored into it. Aberdeen left over money, not the program itself. And last I checked, that Blue Blood has won two less championships than us the last 25 years.
they had to get Aberdeen to ask him about the feeling of winning a NC, since it’s been so long since their last one.
What does that have to do with the tea in China? They are our biggest rival. Do you think Joakim Noah would have transferred to Kentucky? Patric Young? Do you think Tim Tebow would have transferred to Georgia like Etienne? This is the new reality that there is no allegiance to the name on the jersey. If you can grow up a Gator fan and go to UF for 3 years then Kentucky being a blue blood should matter little in the grand scheme. Heck I wouldn’t even pay for Kentucky if my own kid wanted to go there
Sure thing. But also one that does not win any championships this century when not playing Anthony Davis. Hope he enjoys losing both his last game next year & the only game his family comes to see…
Speaking about the price of tea in China !! And you damn sure would pay for ur kid to go anywhere he wanted Also it was a whole different ball game when Noah and Tebow was around
Kentucky basketball is the top basketball blue blood program. It’s not always the wins and championships. What is the importance of UK basketball to their fans vs anywhere else.
And I think that is the most surprising part. Zel stayed here when he could have transferred and then transfers when most thought he would stay given the history. Again I don't blame him for going after the money. Just bummed that out of 363 DI college basketball teams he picks the one that is our biggest rival.
