I don't know what to say either. I never saw this coming, nor do I like this honestly. I'm not a portal fan at all.
Yuck. Just yuck. Next man up for the Gators ...and mr Aberdeen is banished to the dusty corners of Gator history
Man down Man up Baseball rebuilds itself 50-60 percent every year. Be thankful we have a sharp coach who can recruit winners like crazy.
You called me as being a revionist a few pages back and you are rewriting the records. DA wasn't horrible (compared our top 3 guards), but he certainly turned the ball over and did at a comparable rate as Richard and Martin. All 4 of them had too many careless turnovers and Clayton was the worst with TOs/min ratio. One nice thing about the internest is that it makes it very easy to call out BS statements.
Right. The 04s didn’t turn down NBA cash to run it back as seniors. But more to the point, there’s more than two options—04s or selfish.
I was wondering who was going to bring that point up. for those of us that are less astutue than yourself, why don't you share the other options.
Lee was hired to start. Aberdeen wants to play point and didn't want to come off the bench again. He got a raise but still may not start. I wish he was around to help Lee adjust. Feels like Etienne to uga.
Pretty good chance they overpaid....UF has to be smart with their resources and this just wasn't the way to manage our roster
My boy has left the building. Very disappointed but understand that money talks. Don't blame him but still very sad.
I thought the SEC had a rule that you could not transfer to another SEC school if you entered the portal during the spring period which just began? Certainly DA has not graduated under which he might have an exemption to that policy.
Interesting that ESPN puts him as the 76th best portal target. 76. Denzel Aberdeen, 6-5, G, Jr., Florida Gators Committed to Kentucky Aberdeen was projected to move into the reigning champions' starting lineup next season, so his departure came as a surprise. He averaged 7.7 points this past season, with his numbers jumping to 14.4 points and 41.4% 3-point shooting in his five starts.
