Damn annoying ADs

Have you tried any of the handful of different ad blockers?

 

GC is trying to pay for NIL

 

uBlock Origin is your friend if your problem is on desktop/laptop

Occasionally malicious ads creep in, they are all automated. It’s not GCs fault. But you have to notify them on the help page so they can help.
And fyi, it’s often the user history that attracts them more than GC. I have no current issues w no ad blocker. Just saying.

I only have issues with popups when using tapatalk.

 

I use an ad blocker on my phone and haven’t seen an ad in years. Since I’m a paid GC subscriber, I shed no tears that I’m depriving them of revenue. I never go to GC on my computer, so can’t offer suggestions on that platform.

 

I communicated w GC about the ads over a month ago, and it did no good. OK, I just now went to my iPhone settings, clicked extensions, which sent me to the Apple Store to download an ad block extension to Safari on my phone. I downloaded 1Blocker. I set it to only block ads. It did the trick. Like magic there are no more ads popping up on gator country.

 

I use duck duck go as my browser and between phone and MacBook, have yet to see any semblance of an ad or pop up.
