High quality game 1 in Austin.. I thought AU may of caught a little break early.. After giving up 2r HR to Irish, Horns ace left 2 pitches later w/ some type of inury. But then they just bring in guys with 1.1 ERAs lol Their FR lefty closer reminds me a lot of AJ Puk in college.

Yep.....all things being equal I'm all about that too Cats are in 11th in SEC, UF 13th.....they are 2 games up on UF so they are an important team for UF to bypass (UF has 5 more total wins at present). TAMU, Bama, Aub, Miss St other team in that mix with us.
UK has pretty 'soft' remaining sched. at least as soft as it can be that doesnt include Mizzu. I assume by "in same mix' youre talking about sec wins. Thats a 2 (at best) team race IMO Tex & Ark.. rest of us just building resumes.. rpi & sec series record just as important as total sec wins imo(onnce reach the minimum, which varies by year/team).. aub #4 rpi , 4-2 in series,,not same as uk uf msu.. at least not this week..lol at loss or 2 at home to bad rpi miss st will change that a little speaking of mizzu,,i wonder if they 'asterisk' those wins.. for ex..a team has 13 wins but 3 vs mizzu, will they count that against team?? probably not, but probably should...they are historically bad.. not just bad in sec bad.
Not that media/human polls matter at all, but little surprised aTm not ranked this week. If for no other reason to promote all 3 tv games at Texas. Didnt receive a vote in coachs poll , but UK did??
I dont put much into D1 kids opinions,, but an interesting chat today selecting their field. They touched on value of Mizzu wins, as I mentioned above. Are the teams that play Mizzu on a different 'magic number' of sec wins?? they didnt come out and say that, but sound to be leaning that way. AU toughest conf sched in country per them & most wins vs their projected fied(17-10) but only 9-9 sec..so seeded 11th. Facebook
Not sure what record is for LOB in 8 at bats,, but 17 has to be up there.. Concerning trend last few weeks. It was getting so bad , I started rooting for 3up 3 down.
