Brother in law an orthopedic surgeon with speciality in sports medicine. Anything longer than 6-8 weeks of recovery is a significant injury in his opinion. No inside knowledge and he can’t speculate without examining but thought it sounded like a rotator cuff injury or slight tear? Felt any type of tendon inflammation issue would have recovered from since season end.

Probably has to do with the recovery usually being a year and a half. Miss two seasons and come back stronger than before the injury.

I've always thought they are just procrastinating and they could have gotten the surgery at the end of the season. They would get back to the game six months sooner and they probably get paid every shit anyway so what do they care if they just go on vacation?

I don’t know of any that do. They usually have surgery asap. Same as an acl. They either do it immediately, or in a couple weeks after swelling subsides.

Hitting balls yesterday next to a gentleman who is a new member down here in Jupiter. Turns out he did the surgery on DJ and he said without qualification that it was a complete success. He was surprised that he was not actively participating in the Spring, was unaware of any shoulder injury and smiled and said gamesmanship!

He also said that DJ was one of the finest young men that he had ever treated! I think we may have a winner in DJ. Hope you folks can hold your water! Go Gators!

Nice sentiment but DJ only paid for the small house salad and soft drink of choice. Anything more was on separate checks. Dude knows how to manage his money and garner great publicity.

Okay, hand shake bet for a small salad and soft drink. No extra dressing, they charge for that.

I think you're forgetting all the injury troubles Kyle had with his feet.

They were discussing the fact that we haven’t had a starting qb actually start the whole season in a long time, outside of Trask. Think he started every game in ‘20, right?

We need to measure our expectations. Growth could mean, he's putting on weight.

Yes, I think so. But, that season was a long time coming.
