MSU pitcher really crafty. They don’t have talent we do but they are competing. Kid knows how to change eye level and work in and out. Stuff is decent but make up is awesome. I say stuff decent because fastball sitting 90-91, occasionally 92 or 93

 

We're making their pitcher throw a ton of pitches, but 9 K's in 4 innings is ridiculous. Their guys are putting the ball in play, our guys are taking strikes and swining through pitches. But, neither starter is going to last much longer. It's going to be a bullpen game.

Not at our level. Petersen has not performed in SEC play and the numbers say that. Injuries nothing to do with our #1 with over 7 era in SEC play.

MSU pitcher is dominant. The 3.26 era pretty good but not unbelievable. Surprising he’s so dominant.

They led the country in MLB draft picks in 2024 and recruit well every year. Besides, SEC baseball is not a sport where you should win simply by "outrostering" your competition (with the exception of Missouri).
