I think this is good considering. If this continues the house will flip. He’s right about having to hurt for a while. It will be worth it in 2026.

To be fair to Warsh, he apparently told Trump not to do that. Somebody would have to be pretty incompetent to walk into the Fed job after independence had been pierced (enjoy the blame for the imminent economic collapse that would follow). Not sure Warsh is that level of incompetent, at least.

I read it as he asked the former Fed chair for advice on how to fire the current chair, not that Trump was necessarily offering him the job, although the way that paragraph is worded I can see it meaning either. But that is a good point. If this does go down, we can be assured that the replacement will be an absolute disaster as no one qualified would take the job.

If he is allowed to fire JPow, that will destroy the markets and the dollar is done as a world currency. Our country will go bankrupt and we will have hyper inflation. Example, see what recently has occured in Turkey with a corrupt leader who has no economic sense.

I listen to a lot of conservative radio shows while driving, guest are starting to question dear leaders tariff plan and other decisions. Hopefully more folks will speak up before it is to late.

This is why I laughed at all the retired military participating in the attempted Jan 6th events.

I guess they thought after overthrowing the U.S. govt their pensions would still be good? LOL. That always seemed crazy to me. I guess Biden bought them 4 more years. Wonder how crazy those guys get when they find out their pensions are -0-?

Did some lose their pensions? If so, were they married? Is it right for the spouse to lose their income because of here husbands actions?

That is not what I meant. I’m not aware of anyone retired military losing their pension as a result of 1/6 crimes.

My point was more that if you overthrow a govt and collapse the economy, there are no pensions. There is a decent chance a political takeover of the central bank causes such a cataclysm. This is Hugo Chavez type stuff. Really, no account would be safe under that scenario. Project 25 wants to abolish the FDIC. Think about how crazy that is. Even savings accounts could hypothetically be vulnerable to bank runs. Just like when America was “great” before the Great Depression.

Violent criminal actions have consequences, right?

Oh wait - according to Trump, they were abused hostages deserving of a pardon. According to the Republican Party criminal organization, they were just tourists.

Please forgive me if I fail to weep for participants in the most un-American crime in modern American political history. A crime which was part of an obvious criminal conspiracy by Donald Trump.

I don’t understand how the supply of champagne doesn’t run out for MAGA with all this winning.

Czar Trump is visibly incompetent and not even MAGA can run from it.
    Tanking the stock market
    Destroying the dollar
    Blew up the bond market
    Driving up inflation
Layoffs are just around the corner
    Eroded trust in American leadership
Poisoned 80 years of alliances with Europe and SE Asia
Caused countries like Canada and Europe to issue a travel warning (like you would expect to be issued to countries like Iran, Russia, or North Korea).
Breaking trust in the judicial system
    Broke trade agreements he made
    Attacking education and universities
Threatening to send citizens, not just illegal immigrants, to a foreign gulag
    Ignoring the Supreme Court

He has turned America from being the good guys, the largest economic power in history, to a country that other countries no longer can trust, all at the expense of the American people, all of us, not just MAGA.

To continue with his ignorance and stupidity on economic policy Donnie the Dunce now attacks the central bank and Powell, begging him to cut rates in the face of strong inflationary pressures which he created with his misguided policies on tariffs that have no rhyme or reason. He is truly ignorant to monetary and economic policies. He can’t comprehend the fact that the central bank needs to be independent of politics.
It’s now easy to see how he bankrupted a casino, a steak company, a university, and his own business.
Economically ignorant with unwarranted false bravado.
All this winning stupidity is on display for the world to see.
