Respect your opinion. I hope DJ can play the entire season with only the bumps and bruises he can play through. If the worst case scenario occurs and he can’t play we are in much better shape to handle the brutal schedule than we were last year. Better offensive line, deep RB room and a much more experienced and deeper defense. The wheels came off the wagon against Texas last year. We were playing them on the road immediately after a tough loss to Georgia while they were coming off a bye week. If DJ is unable to play against them this year we have a very experienced QB we can use in Harrison Bailey: who was MVP in Louisville’s bowl game last season. If it’s Aiden Warner, he won’t be starting his first college football game. Our OL will protect him better than last year and I think he will prove to be a pretty good player for us. He looked surprisingly good against Georgia when he was thrown into the fire after DJ pulled a hamstring. Actually led us to 10 points, if I recall correctly. Looked good in the O&B game too, for what’s that worth. Neither of those guys are DJ, but both of them have very positive attributes. Just my opinion.
