I thought we had freedom of assembly. Guess that's another part of the Constitution that's meaningless?

Already answered, but he was hanging out with other day laborers in an area at Home Depot where they hang out. Guilt by b association isn't a thing.

First off, he was here LEGALLY on a judge's order of protection. Second, please show me where in the Constitution that rights are only for citizens.

Spending life in prison? You'd probably feel differently if you got pulled over for speeding only to learn that speeding is suddenly a life sentence. No opportunity to appeal, talk to a lawyer, or see your family again - straight to jail with no contact allowed with anyone from your life ever again.

Considering this is the FB/Reddit of the site, I believe it would differ to the poster.

Was he here legally before that or do judges now make the law? Is the order of protection permanent?

He was here illegally then legally. No, they’re not permanent but there’s a process for that and reversal of protected status doesn’t result in one being imprisoned indefinitely but simple deportation.

The order essentially remains in effect indefinitely. That doesn't mean that Abrego Garcia couldn't be deported, the order specifically prohibited his deportation to back to El Salvador. ICE could have always deported him to a third country. Alternatively if the feds wanted to deport him to El Salvador they could have requested that the court modify or rescind the order and has been pointed out in multiple other posts, deportees are entitled to due process prior to deportation. It should also be noted that the right to due process does not require the release of a potential deportee prior to his/her deportation. If a deportee represented a threat and/or was convicted of a serious crime and/or there was likelihood that he/she could flea the deportee could be detained prior to deportation.

I've always been careful to obey the laws of any country I visited, especially boarder crossing laws. It is a good way to end up in prison to do othewise.

If you thought you were obeying the laws and they suddenly changed the rules on you and put you in jail for life. You'd probably not like that without at least an opportunity to understand and defend yourself, right?

Carl Higbie just did a monologue (with legal court papers) on how that gangbanger (MS-13 member/ACTIVE) was legally ordered to be deported by Pam Bondi based on his past.

    Right here
The government asserts that Abrego Garcia is a terrorist and a member of MS-13. Perhaps, but perhaps not. Regardless, he is still entitled to due process. If the government is confident of its position, it should be assured that position will prevail in proceedings to terminate the withholding of removal order. See 8 C.F.R. § 208.24(f) (requiring that the government prove "by a preponderance of evidence" that the alien is no longer entitled to a withholding of removal). Moreover, the government has conceded that Abrego Garcia was wrongly or "mistakenly" deported. Why then should it not make what was wrong, right?

This the entire issue succinctly put by the court in denying the administration’s appeal.

he has received due process twice in deportation hearings and from what I have read he was supposed to have been deported both times and for whatever reason he was not- he is a proven documented member if MS 13 plus on 2 separate occasions best his wife(once while ahead was holding her small baby) but then as seems to happen a lot with abused women she decided not to press charges- he supposedly told the court both times that if they sent him back a rival gang would kill him so he was “temporarily” allowed to stay- he is an illegal alien and did not deserve to be here- guess what would happen if the left somehow got him sent back- he would just be deported again- I want every person who is here illegally deported - all approximately 30 million(that is probably way to low a number) they have ZERO right to be here

Well, that is just false. There is a reason he wasn't deported. He can't be deported to his country of citizenship, which is the only country that he can be deported to in the first place. The Immigration Judge issued an order of protection to prevent that. That is why he was released.

He was not given any order of deportation, which is why even the government is admitting to the mistake. They are just refusing to rectify the mistake.
