Televised? If not, relegated to local coverage. Not exactly a first class Natty celebration, but I accept not everyone feels as I do.
Mullen was his third choice and people were high on 1 and 2: Chip Kelly and Scott Frost. Mullen could have won big with a DC and some more effort. That being said...like someone said....get someone to help with the next football hire when Billy cant get his play calling ego out of his own way Napier is let go.
Dude just got loudly booed by pretty much entire stadium… I heard one guy yell “we won in SPITE of you not because of you”
Think that had to do with a player expressing his displeasure on being done at halftime? Im for keeping that kind of stuff in house.
60,000 saw it. Not picking a fight- what would in your opinion be 1st class? Today’s was cool. 60K ppl
For the live celebration, thats fine. Not exactly big numbers for all gator fans, pretty lame along with not televising the game. We are only fans though. Enjoy that tv check i guess. Espn didnt offer money i guess
They had a welcome home celebration at flavet field. Tons of fans showed up. And now this in the stadium. That’s plenty of chances to see and celebrate them. Also take into account these guys are getting paraded around like crazy. The night before (last night) they were at a private party for one of the biggest attorneys around. I’ll give you a hint. He represents UF. I was there. These kids are soaking it up, but even they need a break.
I asked above after a similar post, but is it traditional for the champ to have a televised championship celebration a week or so after the game? I don’t think I’ve seen such a thing. You know why the game itself wasn’t broadcast, and don’t be surprised if there’s no public game at all next year. I don’t think espn was ever paying us for spring games. I think we actually had to pay. Almost certain we have to pay if it’s only on the streaming platform which they usually are.
We should get to see it for paying our cable bill. The only thing i watch is a few sports for $300 a month.
Frost was never a serious candidate. And we backed off Kelly when it became clear that it would not work. Mullen was our best option, at the time.
Mullen didnt have to suck , he chose to. No balls to can his buddies. I learned long ago that it's dangerous to hire your friends because it is really tough to tell them to their face that they just arent good enough.
