That whole play is wrong, on an illegal pitch Comia should have been sent back to first and a ball should have been added

 

The ball was there in time Cahalan missed the tag.

 

Great job by Brown pitching out of that.

Tweaks seem to be having positive impacts. And Ava is looking sharp out there.

 

This could be a new version of a "pitch out" that no one has thought of before.

Cost to the offense, one ball, same as a pitch out.

 

Ava is doing much better -- and lasting much longer -- than I expected.
