If all of this is true and crimes were committed I just hope that the folks who engaged in such wrongdoings are actually held accountable. All too often, this stuff just goes stale and no one ever pays a penalty.

No need for a conspiracy related to the false electors. We all watched that unfold in real-time. If you aren't concerned by the President trying to promote false electors to vote against the results of their own state then I can't help you. That 100% should have been investigated.

Trump is playing games. I think he knows what he’s doing but doesn’t know the negative consequences.
Best any of us can do is ride it out and hope that some of it will be positive at the end.

 

So his plan is to constantly reverse himself, change the reasoning behind his actions regularly, lie about who pays the tariffs, target industries that will never move to the US, bloviate about ass kissing, tariff penguins, have staffing confused about whether tariffs are stacking or elevating to the numbers he says, understands that his reciprocal tariffs are not reciprocal, and to crash the economy? All of that is planned? You have a lot of faith in someone whose execution the first time around was suspect.

 

Using a previous analogy, the probability of Trump's policies have a positive outcome are similar to the odds of winning one of the multi-state lotteries with a payout near a billion dollars. While it could happen the probability is considerably slim and using an apt historic analogy the Smoot Hawley tariff didn't work very well.

 

And once we know for sure if there is a positive impact or negative impact, the damage will already be done.

 

@g8orbill - Help me out here. Please explain what the conspiracy was, what they were trying to accomplish, and what laws did they break?

All that video states is that the Biden WH Counsel turned over Trump's and Pence's phones, which would be property of the US government if they were their official phones, to the Biden DoJ. That would likely be standard procedure as Trump and Pence's staff would have turned their phones into the WH Comms Office on their way out the door. If the Biden DoJ wanted those phones for any reason, they would have to go through the Biden WH Counsel to get them turned over.

 

What laws were broken? I’m pretty certain you can’t answer that. Just parroting stuff on X you don’t understand.
