Is it me, or does it seem like there are far fewer Trump cheerleaders lately? Don't get me wrong - I'm not foolish enough to think that they've left the cult. But are they finally embarrassed by His incompetence to no longer choose to defend Him here? Perhaps it's His clownish tanking of the stock market by 20% in about a week? Failure to deliver on all His Day 1 promises lies? Just seems like they're hiding from the "performance" of their hero ......

The economy is low down the list of my primary political concerns. It is fascinating, though, to sit back and watch Democrats defend the profits of billionaires on Wall Street, while Trump is fighting to bring offshored jobs back to states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

It’s tough being on defense when your “team” is in the white house. It can be exhausting. The same thing happened in 2017. plus, they don’t have a lot to thump their chests about right now. Not a lot of good news out there. Even deportations are below expectations.
Weird. My "broken record" is the really awesome Trump tariff plan that he only unveiled about a week ago? Or the violation of the Constitution to deport an ultimately insubstantial amount of alleged but unproven "gang members" ? Strange.
