I’ve had Stetson season tickets for years. My favorite ASUN team. Apparently every other season ticket holder sold the ticket for today’s game to a Gator fan. The crowd was 95% Gators, easily more then at KSP.

I don’t know jack about pitching. I ask seriously why we don’t see Miller more. From where I was sitting, she seemed to quickly learn Blue’s zone and paint the edges.

That Stetson got five runs sure demonstrates how frighteningly short our pitching bench is. We need to pray nightly for good health.

Last year we basically managed with 2 pitchers, obviously Keagan is the ace when she is on top form and not carrying an injury, and she and Ava did a fantastic job between them.
This year we have 4 decent pitchers, and I have really enjoyed seeing Miller pitch. I wonder though if CTW finds it hard to let go of the idea that Keagan has to carry the whole load like last year. Even then, towards the end and going in to the wcws, you could see that she looked exhausted, and that's not good for anyone!, but he has double the options this year and I feel like maybe he should trust them just a little bit more.

That said, I also know nothing about pitching, although I can certainly recognise when it's not great, so I'm happy to be schooled by members who actually do know what they're talking about!

CTW’s use of Olivia Miller is an ongoing topic of discussion in our household. We always discuss which pitcher(s) will get an opportunity for a game, but inevitably we ask if Liv will get a shot today? Will she be allowed to work through her difficulties and maybe develop her confidence a bit? Coaches patience seems unusually short with her appearances at times. At any rate, we think there is a lot of potential with Olivia’s pitching, and hope she becomes a more dependable choice moving forward.

This "patience" thing with Miller seems to have taken a life of it's own. Which games are we referencing where she had an unusually short appearance and the staff wasn't patient with her? She faced 4 batters in her second appearance vs Arky.....2 walks and a hit and 3 runs. That's her shortest stint and clearly was struggling and needed to be pulled. Otherwise she has worked a normal stint. I can see arguing that she should get some of Hammock's innings, and somewhat expect that to happen. But I don't see any impatience or short leash

I was very proud of Liv last night
She was very poised on the mound and worked quickly and decisively.
I, too, am puzzled by her lack of innings.
But, my pitching coach skills are sorely lacking.
I am rooting for her and believe she will pitch significant innings this year.

Agree with Scrappy. I know Miller loves being a Gator and was hoping that she would be thrown into the mix more than she has so far. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of her the last half of the season.
