This kids seems like he would be a great fit. I just heard that Isaiah Brown's brother AJ (transferring from Ohio U.) might be landing in Gainesville for a family reunion. A very reliable source who's extremely connected to the Bobcat program shared this.
Looking at his HS highlights, it looks like him and his brother both like shooting those corner threes. Last year at Ohio U, he averaged over 13 pts a game, shot 47% FG, 39% from 3, 82% from the line. Looks like a good option so far. At 6-4 and 210 lbs he would compete for a wing spot.
Todd is a great evaluator of talent. But now he will be like Billy D that was also a great evaluator of talent. If we show an interest all of the sudden "blue bloods" show an interest. We lost a lot of great almost Gators to late "blue blood" poaching back in the day.
Lurker, we are now the new blue blood. Have faith, we won’t get all we go for, but if there has been a time to cash in, now is the time. I will be at the celebration in the Swamp. Hopefully we can get some five stars to visit this weekend.
I don’t see Handlogten starting. Seems almost a certainty that Chinyelu will once again be the starter at center.
I knew what you meant....there is a difference between you being ambiguous and someone else making an assumption.
“Imagine a lineup.” “Add…maybe a Handlogten.” Nothing about a starting lineup. You inferred that, which is fine, but it’s not what I said. Just like in the thread about Ingram.
From CBB Analytics, here's how he compared to each of our guards, with our guard's number outlined & Lee's colored. The circled number is CBB's similarity score. Clayton Martin Richard
Xavian Lee seems like an excellent prospect for Florida. I hope that it helps that Haugh played with Lee in ?HS. High school phenom Xavian Lee enters transfer portal I hear St Johns & North Carolina are after Lee among others.
The only downside of taking a kid like this is he only gives you one year. Really hoping NCAA adds a fifth year.
