The tax and liability implications of a move to this paradigm are huge. I think the colleges would rather just let things run rampant as they are than taking risks of that nature. Of course the courts and labor laws may force the issue.
Yeah, but the schools like UGA, BAMA et al., that had their own version of NIL... they liked it more before it was legal.
