Nothing better than a title, but alas… we say goodbye to the greatest backcourt in gators history.
What a joy it’s been to watch Martin, Richard and Clayton.
it’s been really special for me… having followed Clayton at Iona, and being a big FAU fan during Martin’s time with the Owls. In fact, we’d talk to Alijah at Shake Shack following most games. He is a really nice kid.
Anyway…. It’s hard to be sad now, but this is a trio I will really miss. They deserved to go out on top, and I couldn’t be happier for those guys. They were true competitors … and in the days of NIL/Portal, they seemed all about winning!
Thanks for the memories, fellas. Thanks for being Gators.
    You are legends.

I wanted it more for them than for me which is rare in the annals of Gator sports.

It was an honor watching this backcourt bring us our third national championship. A salute and a tip of the cap.

    Go Gators!!!!!

While sad to see them go, I'm really excited for the future because Golden can really recruit.
We definitely need more of the 'enforcer-type' guys like Martin has been for us this year.
And our game against UConn really showed we need more muscle down low in the paint.
Also hope we start signing more 5* guys Duke gets (like Flagg) or UConn's Johnson.

These boys loved each other and played for each other and always gave it their best. I'm proud of this team and I'd glad they were rewarded for all the effort they put into this season!
    Go Gators!

That’s the thing about a great run like this. Even with the win - it does come to a sudden halt. But what awesome memories - and this team now will be remembered in Gator history forever as National Champs.

The transfer portal fixes all ailments. It will no longer take 2-3 years to rebuild from a championship team.

We can field a Big Dance team in 2026.

Why do we need to spend millions on a one and done guy who chokes in crunch time?
