Am I missing something in this matchup? The Gator bigs have a huge height advantage over Houston, so shouldn't the Gators out-rebound Houston? I read that Houston's advantage over other teams--they all run mileage and are in great shape. So, I don't think we will wear them down with our tempo. I do think, though, that's where we shine at scoring. Like Texas Tech, we cannot allow them to force us into veing a half-court offense! Florida has mostly played slow in the first half against elite teams. They simply cannot afford to play slow with Houston! For UF to win, they need to avoid turning the ball over. Zero careless passes, limit turnovers, and good defense, and they get the trophy!

Anyone here getting sad yet at the thought that win or lose this is the last time will ever see these guys play together. Going to miss this team and watching games twice a week for the past 5 months.

Even though we are 6-1 versus their 1-3 against common opponents, we have to throw that out the window and keep our heads grounded.

We have a wonderful opportunity to finish out a great season by just staying focused and being the team we have been all year.

since we can anticipate heightened defense, we need to take care of the ball and force them to foil us. Duke got out rebounded and allowed them to score three more 3s and still only loss by 3 points and were leading significantly down the stretch.

we have to sense when the momentum is in our favor and push the pace.

we can win this game in the first half if we come out with “not today Houston” intensity.

Wear them down, get them in foul trouble and make shots that have them shaking their heads late. NC.
