Even though he hacked Condon again and again and even shoved him down from behind. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder wouldn't have missed that many fouls.
I just watched a show on YouTube called Locked on Auburn. All they talked about was how we hacked and pushed Johnny broom. Delusionoles!! Was absolutely amazing to listen to the shite sandwich they were trying to sell.
Well since you were there..use your own eyes and opinion. Did we have more? If you say no, you’re lying or have poor judgment. It was obvious who had more fans.
Yeah there were several articles that talked about Auburn fans wanting to open investigations into how the refs stole the game from them. I'd look at them with reservations because I've found unless they are from reputable sources, they are most likely AI-generated.
FWIW- I have a good friend who is a Gamecock fan and played at a high level in high school and knows the sport pretty well. He definitely doesn't view the game w/ O & B glasses. Anyway after the game he texted congrats on the win and I believe you beat "8 on the court tonight." So yeah- it isn't just Gator fans saying this. Hope we get more fairness vs. Houston but who knows.
Or the bad hacks on several Clayton driving layups…no excuse whatsoever. Maybe they should analyze the video of EVERY play because they have no clue seeing it live.
Near the end of the game when Haugh was under our basket trying to grab the ball there were 2 Aubrun players slapping and pushing him - it didn't seem like they were even trying to steal the ball! How Haugh managed to get the ball and score was amazing. The refs HAD to call a foul on that shot but it was about the 5th actual foul on the play.
I rewatched the second half Sunday and there were a lot of bad no calls that went Auburns way the last 8 or 9 minutes. I don't think I have ever seen anything that one sided and find it hard to believe it was by chance.
And we beat them anyway. I was complaining about the officiating during the game and afterwards my wife asked me if it was really that bad or was I just venting. I told her it was really that bad. The next day we watched a replay and I pointed out a lot of things and she now agrees that the officiating was fishy.
Yeah. The only reason I can think for the almost blatant favoritism is Bruce Pearl has been around a while and there might be some refs that want to see him get a title before retiring?? Otherwise I cant think of the reason for the favoritism. Two SEC schools playing each other, basically peers, no underdog/smaller team to protect.
I hate to say it and it probably was not the case but with legal betting and some of it for a lot of money it is just a matter of time before there is a college official caught up in something illegal. Money does that in all kinds of places it seems.
