Everybody here knows more and likely has forgotten more on softball than me, but I do have a couple of opinions that I want to express: 1. I think the Gator hitters are taking too many strikes and aren't being aggressive enough at the plate. 10 runs on 5 hits with 3 homeruns isn't exactly a formula easy to duplicate for continuing success. 2. Taylor Shumaker seems to almost ignore strikes on the outside corner. If she is going to succeed as she did earlier in the season, I think she needs to take what the pitchers are giving her. I know the stats look good, but Taylor has been cold at the plate in the games I've watched. Again, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but needed to say what I was thinking.
Crowd went crazy when they announced Korbe in the lineup. I hope last night reminded her who she is/what she can do.
