Prefer to play Duke or Houston?

I don’t think they’ve lost in 2025, though.

 

I think Duke is way more talented than Houston.

I think Houston is way more determined, nasty, tested and full of fight than Duke. (With tested probably being the determining factor).

Monday night will be fun.

 

I didn’t ever really get that vibe from him. I thought he was just trying to explain the metrics.

 

UH beat UT.

 

I would prefer playing Duke. ESPN’s love affair with Duke is like Finebaum with the Crimson Tide.
Love hearing the Pundits going silent as Houston went ahead at thirty seconds left, classic. Beating Duke with everything on their side makes you feel better. Fake news, Referees, Pundits, ACC organization, fans not living in Florida, etc, last night showed how playing a weak schedule doesn’t allow for overcoming tough, experienced teams. Hence I would like to strike a blow against Blue Blood thinking. Enough said.

When Flagg released his last shot in the lane, I figured it had about a 95% chance of going in despite the defensive contest. Instead, he shot it so short it was almost an airball. Hmmmm

I was in a weird place as far as who I wanted to win. I think/thought Duke was the better team, but I sort of felt like we would do better against Duke as far as playing our game. Houston is good at making a game ugly and, possibly, taking away our ability to run, which is when we are at our best.

 

Ok well that is ok then! But don’t forget the second “r” in my screen name. Poor gatorade had to wake up to all the ragging meant for me.

 

Either way we were getting to wear the underdog unis! Lower seeded team wears their colored jerseys so we’re in BLUE again!
