Richard had some key rebounds and defensive plays to ignite our 2nd half start...He didn't score much but he made some critical plays

SJB612 said: Handy is the one guy that I feel isn'tplaying to his potential and we will desperately need Monday against the Duke monster Maluach (assuming they beat Houston).

Handy is a pass first guy. Wish he’d look to the basket and look to score first, then Pass second.

And this is the reason I stay away from posting during the game.

It is a 40.000 minute game. That is all we really need to know.

Will Richard is an extremely valuable member of this team. When he's hitting 3's we're virtually unbeatable. But he does so many little things well and often guard a forward on the other team who is bigger than him - and holds his own for the most part.

    Interesting stats:

    Fouls: Auburn 22, Florida 15
Bench minutes: Auburn 48, Florida 49

We both only played 8 players. I think the difference is that our bigs are more stamina guys, and our two bench bigs (Tommy and Micah) played 12 more minutes than Auburn's one bench big, Johnson.

Auburn beat Houston by 5 and lost to Duke by 6, both on the road.

I wish a reporter would ask Broome in the press conference what he said to Condo after he made his first basket and was it to try and convince yourself that you could beat Florida when you obviously can't.

They tried. Auburn got the benefit of most calls, and were allowed to be much more physical.

Johnson getting in early foul trouble helped us because he can score and help Broome....Johnson was never really a factor.

When I was a college student at UF, winning close games energised me. I would be pinned to the TV set watching every second and would celebrate deep into the night. Today, when it's a nail-bitter, I can't watch. Like tonight, I was listening but couldn't watch. Now all these close Gator games exhaust me. I felt like my heart was about to burst. My obit will say "60 year old man dies while watching a University of Florida sporting event"
