The basketball powers above really want Auburn to win.

 

Auburn is clearly playing a more aggressive form of defense than we are..and being rewarded with very few calls.

Well, looks like we are in a familiar place. At least we have experience in overcoming . Not uncharted territory. Second half team.

Getting smothered inside and can't hit 3's. Something's gotta change.

 

Called different yes, now a days those are actually usually fouls back in 1995 that would have been normal basketball. You do have to fight through it but I think complaints can be made when they are obvious slaps that actually affect the game and what’s happening.

 

Gotta keep this in the 5-7 point range going into half.

We're not playing the best defensively. Rebound, play d and take care of the ball and we'll be fine.

 

I’m really surprised we haven’t gotten physical with him, again nothing dirty, but a hard enough foul his teammates are helping him off the floor.

 

This entire tournament Florida has been sketchy in the first half. Playing pretty close to even this half so could be a good second half for the good guys if trends continue.

 

Golden is going to have to start working the referees. Auburn could easily have 8 to 9 fouls right now. That being said, we need to start being more aggressive.

 

That is how officials can influence a game. You let the contact go, and it favors the team that plays that style of basketball.
