More great winning from the band of morons running our country. As thousands lie dead in Asia and tens of thousands more are homeless and run risks of starvation and disease in Myanmar, the US sits idle. Vacating its former position as the greatest country on earth. With the void created by the isolationist morons running the US, China is increasingly being viewed as a benevolent entity willing to step in and build metaphorical bridges with the suffering and forgotten people around the world.

    Case in point, Myanmar.

Why don't the Democrats start a charity to feed the poor and help the earthquake victims? Because you,'d rather spend someone else's money instead of your own?

Providing aid following a disaster isn't just charity, it's a rational foreign policy. Following the 2004 tsunami and earthquake in Indonesia the US provided over $400 million in aid most through USAID. Prior to the disaster the US was underwater in popularity among residents of Indonesia. Following the disaster that was reversed. A lot has been posted about the expansion of the influence of China in the Third World. China has been successful not through invasions by the People's Liberation Army but through foreign aid. The "stable genius" while complaining about the influence of the PRC has been in effect pursuing policies virtually guaranteed to increase the scope of Chinese influence.

In case anyone may have forgotten.
The U.S. Response to the 2004 Tsunami in Indonesia – Association for Diplomatic Studies & Training
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), as well as other U.S. agencies, such as the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Defense, together allocated over 400 million dollars in emergency aid to Indonesia. USAID led the effort, providing immediate support in the areas of food, water, shelter, sanitation, and medicine. As time has passed, USAID has continued to work in Indonesia to support survivors and rebuild affected communities, focusing on education initiatives, job creation, infrastructure improvement, and proper governance.

“The United States had a 28 percent approval rating prior to the tsunami…. Two months after the disaster… the U.S. approval rating had risen to 63 percent.”

We are providing lots of worldwide foreign aid to this day, it is just with US dollars that we have filtered through China from buying so much stuff from them. We have built that economy (and military) with our money and our stolen technology. China wouldn’t be able to afford providing foreign aid if it wasn’t for us.

What has largely gone unreported is once Trump put it Tariffs and technology restrictions against China around 2018/2019 - China kind of freaked out and went on an industrialization / manufacturing binge - most notably electric cars and clean energy. They are leaving us in the dust.

Capitalism ending in a murder/suicide pact validates Marxism, so communism still wins

Nope, rationalizing letting commies win at the fear of having to rename our form of governance is a logical fallacy.

I love that the only actual argument (gifs don't count) put forth to support this administration's actions is:

If the policies don't work, we'll just kill everyone on the planet.

US foreign policy should be more like Russia's in other words. I agree.

Example: Niger and West Africa need electricity. Niger asked the US to help it build a nuclear power plant. The US said no. Niger then asked Russia. Russia thought about it and then said yes. Russia will now be electrifying Western Africa and the US and France will have less access to Niger's uranium imo. Great job Biden administration.

Example 2: Ethiopia asked the US for help in combatting the marxist terrorists trying to take over their country (the TPLF). The US said no so Ethiopia went to the Russians, who decided to help them.
