Huge cuts at US health agencies

I suspect that Trump just came up with this idiotic policy to provide cover for him abandoning his last idiotic policy, which was building the Great Wall of Mexico to save America from the hordes of Mexicans invading and picking our fruits and vegetables. I'm kinda curious to see how soon he'll abandon this idiotic policy and see what his next idiotic policy will be.

 

This just in: CDC spending is less than $10 billion/yr.

Department of Defense spending is $820 billion a year.
Medicare spending is $839 billion.
Social Security spending is $1.35 trillion.

Math question for MAGA fans: which number is the smallest?

 

The sheer number of health programs being axed is STAGGERING.

This is not just about retribution for our COVID response or contempt for the Affordable Care Act ... it is about dissambling federal leadership of our common health response to EVERYTHING. Things like AIDS, asthma, miners' health, pediatric care, fertilization and reproductive health, blood disorders, mental health, public communications and RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH and so much more. All chopped in one fell swoop.

How does this make our population healthier? How can the states or private entities possibly pick up these programs?

Way to go people. Welcome to a dumber, sicker, poorer country. Folks with money and insurance companies will flourish, everyone else will struggle.

I think we need to get rid of every illegal that has a felony on their record. Obviously cant get rid of 20+Million illegals. I think there needs to be a punishment for what they did(I'm not sure what that punishment would be but for sure not letting them ever be citizens is one I'd support). I have said steep cuts need to happen in defense, in fact I'd cut more from defense spending that other places first. Not sure what else you want me to say.
