Cade hasn’t used his red shirt year yet though, right?

 

Cade and Heyman came in and started as freshman

 

If memory is right, Cade actually came in early and skipped his last spring of high school

 

He hasn’t. I believe he’d qualify for a medical shirt for this year even if he had though.

 

And of course he would have to want a 5th year...which is rare
I kept hoping his little brother would flip from fsu to uf and they would play together....but he signed with noles. Lefty with a very impressive high school career. Not sure how he projects moving forward

 

Could potentially get an extra year of leverage out of it though, even if there's no real intention to use it. If he'd played all of this year, this is his only year of leverage. Now, if he qualified for a medical (and I'd think he would), he could come back and still potentially have a year of leverage after next season.
