I just feel if everyone shows up for 40 minutes and plays our game, we are the best team in the country.

I mean we played like dog most of the game yesterday.

Just imagine if Condo, Martin and Richard combined for more than 23 pts yesterday.

This is Todd's challenge. How can he get each guy to max contribute for two nights. They all contributed something. No question. But it is far from our most complete effort.

This season is a historic success no matter what happens from here on out.

But Todd's challenge is clear. Get everyone to show up at the same level for two nights. Do that and we hang an orange banner instead of a blue on.

I think most of the tournament we’ve played our B/C game and still advanced. The team that showed up at the SEC tournament is damn near unbeatable. Hope we see that team next weekend!

Hitting early threes, a couple of stops and transition buckets, and getting out to a bit of a lead really seems to ignite the team. In the tourney we've shown some early nerves and turned it over too much.

I feel like, after a night of celebrating, our players should trick ourselves into treating the TT game as a loss so they can try to go on a two game win streak. I don't know about anyone else, but I was getting some Missouri/Georgia game vibes throughout the game last night anyway. Maybe the pressure was affecting us some.

We're playing with house money now. Play smart, play fast.

Perhaps coach should work them like they lost.

Coach needs to find an adjustment when teams commit to shutting down our guards. It look like at times we didnt want to pass out of the post or they missed the open shooter. Something we did very well the entire year.

Or to go up hard and throw it down. Most of the missed bunnies weren’t on runouts or anything. He was under the basket, just enforce your will!

We have not put 2 halves together the whole tourney. I believe that if we do, we can win it all. I think that it would be good for us to get Auburn in the FF. A team that they are familiar with that they blew out.

If we had just made half of the missed layups, we wouldn't be talking about the great finish last night. It would've been a dbl digit win.

No doubt. Some credit to tech, they were able to keep our bigs off balance and run our guards off the 3 pt line most of the night. They did not let us just do what we wanted on either end.

Obviously having each and every piece working as well as they can is tough to do for an entire game. That is why it is a game of runs. You just don't want to press when the other team is working their mojo and yours is lacking.

Methinks this team has a kind of "gotcha" thing going on. Lull the opposing team into a sense of certainty and then surprise them with 3s and home run throws to a streaking player. Add in the Martin free throw rebound and layup and it HAS to do a number on the other team's psyche. And remember these are not seasoned pros but impressionable kids.

They implicitly KNOW it is a 40.000 minute game. And it is a damn good weapon.

Besides the bevy of guards taking turns and Haugh doing the dirty work while hitting some 3s, give me a centered and healed up Condo and then watch what happens. It is a truly magical team.

Richard and Condon have seemed off most of the tournament so far. Even before he twisted his ankle Condon just didn't look right. For UF to win a title I think we need the 17 pt 10 reb type day from Condon. He's got to have more of an impact, I know scoring isn't everything but if we only get 5 pts out of him, I don't like our chances the next 2 rounds.

Richard hasn't shot it great all tournament so I really hope he finds something. He brings it on defense, but he's got to knock down open 3s for us to reach our full potential. He has 3-5 min spurts, but I do think we need more for us to be national champs.

Honestly, I don’t think anyone ever plays a “complete game.” It’s a media platitude. Our national title teams l struggled in the first half, especially during the first tourney run. Our 2014 team routinely let other teams back in it. Unless you are talented and experienced AND run a very disciplined half court offense that manages the pace, you aren’t going to control every game from start to finish. Duke is sort of the exception given their lack of experience.

But we are never gonna be one of those teams, IMO, because good defense and good offense tend to feed into each other for us, and it’s really hard to dominate good teams on defense when we are being aggressive. It’s one thing on your home court, but much tougher on a neutral floor.

I’m sure I’ll get hammered for this but I’ve got to go with duke. Their size is unbelievable. The shortest starter is 6’6” and they’re all good. W
the closest I remember to a perfect game was the national title game vs ucla. I thought we played extremely well from start to finish on the biggest stage against what was supposed to be the best defensive team that year.

I know we beat Auburn previously but we played a complete game to get that win. We'll have to do that again to beat them again in the Final Four.

Also, we allowed isolation plays with TT's bigs guys down low all game and never double teamed or gave any help until the last 4 minutes. Can't let Auburn's bigs, especially Broome, just back us down one on one because he's so skilled around the basket that one guy can't stop him.

We beat them with Condon having a great game, 17pt and 10 rebs. That was the game Martin was out. We also had Klavzar go off from 3 that game, which i think that ship has sailed for the remainder of the tournament.

I would expect Auburn to hedge or rotate an extra defender on Clayton if he hits many shots early. That will be key for Martin or Richard to get more open looks. Since Condo went for 17 and 10 against them last time, Auburn might also try to limit him early but Walter is certainly their first target. The point is, we should see either Martin or Richard have a good game with Auburn focused on other players.

I think the key is Condon. It seemed like several times he had the ball near the free throw line in space and he looked to pass every time instead of driving to the basket. He can’t play tentative. Some of that may have been because of his ankle. If he is aggressive to the basket, I like our chances.
