Notable, isn't it. Only need to pay attention to what podcasts they listen, what they currently read, or occasionally peek at their FaceBook pages to know what persuasive sources 'influenced' their latest opinion.

I observed our former housekeeper's opinion of Musk and Tesla turn on a dime when Musk joined forces with Trump before the election. Soon after, she quit working for us; 'fired' us with a 3 page e-letter telling us she felt "disrespected" in our refusal / inability to believe her and her dubious sources. The latest being her insistence pets "are too!" being stolen and eaten' in Springfield, Ohio even after the resident who carelessly started the damaging message confessed and recanted the damaging rumor she started.

The situation was fast becoming untenable. She did us a favor when she quit.

 

Since the humor thread has been locked I thought that I would post this here.

 

Tesla's reputation takes another hit, as the car's self-drive feature fails the infamous Wile E. Coyote Test. The car is driven down a road and comes upon a styrofoam wall painted to look like a continuation of the road. If it stops before the wall, then it passes the test. Tesla failed. If you want survive using the self-drive feature, you need to pay (a lot) extra for the Full-Self Driving (FSD) software, and not just get the Suicidally Insane Self-Driving (SISD) software. The new motto might as well be: "Tesla--Where Safety is Optional".

Tesla / Musk / Trump protests are picking up around the country. Surprisingly, the majority of participants are not from the younger crowd, they are retirees. Trump needs to send his goons after grandma and grandpa. What do they think they have, freedom of speech?

I attended 2 Tesla Takedown protests in Michigan. The generation that showed up was the one I least expected.

Why are the Euros worried about what Musk is doing in DOGE? Why are they protesting Tesla cars?

 

You have to be sticking your head in the sand to not understand. For you and the rest of the meme posting children:

1. Musk has directly inserted himself into EU politics,
2. He’s essentially a part of the Cabinet and this Administration has taken a very anti-European stance,
3. He operates in the commercial sector making Tesla a tangible touchpoint to express their displeasure.
