No kidding. Just read the liberals garbage on this board. The intolerable left will never be happy. They hate everyone that disagrees with them. They want to cancel anyone that is nice to Republicans. It’s a real mental illness.

He could be correct. But voters' preferences change.

At some point in the future they may not fall for a total con about fixing immigration and ending inflation to the degree that they'd vote for a convicted felon rapist.

It will be interesting to see.

No doubt the democrats are down right now but the republicans aren't smart/disciplined enough to turn it into a long term advantage. They will shoot themselves in the foot over and over and turn it right back to the dems.

When you reach "Too Big to Fail" level, you are reading from a script. You have your role to play. And those of us who are not too big to fail, who gain neither fame nor fortune by following, who still have the freedom to think and do for ourselves, blindly follow the script as if it were a program passed out at a church service. Nothing in this world is real.

indeed. It appears MAGA fans are still failing to recognize the accusations and charges of hate and intolerance they make against their political opposites, even moderates and centrists only slightly to their left, are but projective confessions of their own deficiencies and failures. Off the chart dense.

While I don't disagree, I will also say everyone who doesn't express fealty to Trump is also hated. The MAGAs completely perverted the original meaning of RINO (traditionally a Republican who aligns more with the Dems, particularly on social issues. Nelson Rockefeller, John Lindsay and Jacob Javitz were three of many). RINOs, Uniparty, both terms are horribly fatuous, but the hardcore MAGAs believe it.

you voted for trump presumably. He created the program to start the COVID vaccine with Project Warp Speed and his circus cult somehow forgets this.

He said he didn't know anything about project 2025 and appointed the person who wrote it to head up OMB.

    Voters are gullible.

Newsom's point is immediately proven within just a few posts. Almost record time.

Nothing wrong with Warp Speed or the vaccine itself. Problem came when the Dems decided to force people to take it.

    I never intended to take it for two very simple reasons;
    1) I wasn’t afraid of covid enough to put an untested vaccine with unknown side effects into my body.
2). It did not prevent the spread of the virus

But those were my choices and I did not expect anyone to follow my logic. If someone wanted to take it, I’m glad it was available for them. I didn’t force my position on anyone and expected that courtesy from others.

He invented it the current Liberal platform. He's like Doctor Frankenstein running away from the monster he created... trying to distance himself from it.

    He's NOT fooling anyone.

While I agree with Maher, MAGA is exponentially more toxic and full of hate and anger. Ask Pence or Cheney

Yeah, I'm not worried about Newsom. I think some GOP see him as an attractive, smooth talking threat. His brand is and will always be progressive California and until that perception changes, whether it's Newsom, Harris or whomever, they are never going to gain traction nationally. Dems need a common sense alternative from the rust belt or south. East of the Mississipp and away from the Atlantic coast.

The far right and left have become extreme in their positions and beliefs.

    They are both toxic.

I have zero faith that’s going to change so I see us bouncing back and forth accomplishing nothing except more division.

If I didn’t have a son and three grandkids I wouldn’t give a crap. I feel bad for their future.

Or even Mike Pompeo whose only indiscretion was agreeing that Biden won the 2020 election or John Bolton whose Secret Service projection was withdrawn by Trump because he criticized Trump's decision to withdraw US support of the Syrian Kurds although Bolton was on marked for death by Iran for his role in recommending the assassination of Gen. Qasem Soleimani the same reason that Trump himself was on their hit list.
