Baseball at Ole Miss, Fri 3/18, Game 2 Approx 8:15

Here’s hoping Mikey B didn’t sleep a freaking wink last night!

 

P.S. Luke Heyman just put this team on his back! Who’s got what it takes to join him?

 

He deserves to wear a C on the left side of his chest.

 

That was the second longest day of baseball since...I can't remember. What say we sweep Vandy.

 

Damn straight. Let's beat UNF on the midweek and sweep the rich kids next weekend and make them our Vanderbitch.

 

I struggle to find a single area of the team that is fundamentally sound.

 

Brendan Lawson was ejected in the first game. Hit the grand slam and threw the bat and said something towards the Ole Miss dugout. Wasn't the smartest thing to do. So I guess you get ejected and miss the next game.

 

Discipline issue.

 

Didn't expect that from the kid but maybe that was the spark they needed and sparring between dugouts was letting out some frustration. Proud of the boys regardless. End of game three was epic...

He wins the bad luck charm annually in my opinion anyway. He’s a piece of work. I laughed at Alan’s comment when Mikey B pulled his game 1 started Thursday night at 87 pitches—“What kinda voodoo chit is going on in Oxford now”…..
