IMO, the season for Napier will be based pretty much on the transcendency of Lagway and an unfettered Roberts defense. A minor, but important, point will be whether Napier listens to Callaway and his concepts at the correct moments in a game or will he decide that shooting himself (Napier) is a noble pursuit of whatever excellence he is imagining.

After that, Ears is a non-issue. He is trying to figure out a life without his Saban shrine. And right now, he is damn pathetic. He is now getting, if not down right owning the space entirely, into Bianchi territory. Kind of sad really.

It doesn't matter what anyone says. We're going to do whatever we're going to do. I believe there is good reason for cautious optimism (but I have been wrong before).

 

Texas is the problem in that group. But going 0-4 is a dumb statement to make, even for Paul.

 

Finebaum is a total hack. He's a two-bit insult comic whose specialty is vicious cheap shots at people who, for better or worse, are actually relevant in the upper reaches of SEC sports. FTR, I personally find F'baum's ongoing struggle to be "relevant" too banal and irksome to watch. So, I don't.

 

Finebaum craps on every team in the SEC so their fans call into his pathetic show. That's the only way he stays employed.

 

Negativity? It's been a long time since the Gators have been this optimistic about "next year". Dude's a tool, screw him.

I've been talking about it. This is a heck of team. The jump started the last four games of last year and they're clearly building on that. I want to see what the team looks like after the spring portal before I make exact declarations.

 

Speaking of spring – aren’t we in the middle of spring practice?
Why can’t I find progress reports anywhere?

 

They were off last week for spring break. Yesterday was the pro day, so no spring info.

They have their first scrimmage tomorrow. We should get some good info from that.
