Defense stinks, turnovers galore, and lots of fouls and somehow the Gators lead at the half….why? This Maryland team is not very good

 

THIRTEEN Turnovers, 11 fouls to 5 and winning at the Half

 

Our turnovers and their free throws are why this is close. Hold onto the ball and don’t foul and we win this by double digits. We don’t need Condon to beat this team. Just take care of the ball

 

We are not sleepwalking. We are just being unbelieveably reckless with the ball. Driving into traffic with no plan, picking up our dribble just over mid court, and not being patient and finding the open man. The good news is, we are undefeated when leading at the half this year.

 

I heard Sam Alexis will be ready by January

We did not even get into the bonus against this team. Total lack of aggression except for Clayton.

 

We get ahead early then immediately let them in the game. We really need to limit out turnovers in the 2nd half, pound the glass and play some serious D

 

Well, clean up the turnovers and UF should be OK, but, man, that was ugly.

 

We are getting better looks so far, their defense isn't stopping us at all. 12 turnovers is problem.

Turnovers and ticky-tack fouls leading to easy buckets from the charity stripe are killing us.

Zero excuse. Older NBA players travel nonstop around the country for sometimes more than 100 games a year

 

They have played 7 players and were only called for 6 fouls.

And we're playing 9 guys to their 7.

 

Guy hasn’t played in months. Not sure you want him in games of this magnitude with the amount of rust he’d have.
