Nice job ladies. Secured a winning record for the season. Only watched second half but id say Kyle MVP.
What a terrible call on Kyle at the end. All to appease TTU coach after her player shoved gassett over her teammate. Then she hit her free throws like a kid from Indiana should They secured a winning record for the season and may even possibly get a 20 win. An SEC program trending up could be exactly what an underrated recruit or transfer is looking for. Btw, if you don’t like wbb, you could always keep it to yourself and peruse another thread
It's not dislike of womens basketball, it's dislike of poor play. And that was absolutely an issue in this game....both ways. Not sure that's debatable
Not debating that…Someone said “women’s basketball just doesn’t do it for them” lol weird thing to tout in a thread about our WBB team. I’d say any critique of the teams play or even the coaching is completely fair. I think that a blanket statement about wbb would imply (to me) that you really don’t watch. The game is more popular than it’s ever been and if we don’t invest in our WBB program here…we will be left behind. unfair to ask for a bunch of superstars to come play in front of 501 fans in a post season game. Let them build and try to be supportive. Being critical is FINE. Being dismissive of the sport is lame.
Probably complaining about my post. Whatever, there were like three people on this thread when I posted and I'd been watching the whole game regardless of whether it's my favorite sport.
Looks like we play Minnesota on March 31 time to be announced it will be on ESPN U. At Hinkle Field House in Indiana
I honestly try to work the threads with the same passion I have for the other Gator sports..I been at games with 5 and up to 7k back in the Carol Ross era..Hoosierette explains it right... it is hard to get top notch players with low attendance..to me we are going to move on these transfer players. We have the opportunity with Liv around to make a HUGE jump and hopefully people will stay engaged. But the womens program has to be more open to fans, be open about recruiting, open about the program. I know a lot more people would get into the program or willing to pile up the NIL money more if there was some type of information share
I enjoyed their play then watching any NBA game this season. Play is not the best but effort is there..I enjoy it for what it is, a gator team playing.
I get it... I'm also tennis guy and I'm still watching despite rough season for men and women. But I'm also honest about the performances....both good and bad
same, go read some threads I ripped the team a good bit, I complain about the refs because well they are bad and bias, but bad play is what caused us our most problems this year..and some bad coaching
